
Heinsohn, a sophomore from Charlottesville, Va., helped lead
Washington and Lee to its most points scored in 48 years as the
Generals defeated Guilford, 55-29, on Saturday afternoon. The
sophomore running back from Charlottesville carried the ball 20
times for 223 yards and one touchdown as W&L posted the
third-highest rushing total in ODAC history, amassing 463 yards on
the ground. Heinsohn averaged 11.1 yards per carry in posting
the fourth-highest rushing total in school history. For the
season, Heinsohn has amassed 530 yards and three touchdowns on just
61 carries (8.7 average).
