Sproles, a junior from Norton, Va., helped the Emory & Henry
defense hold Randolph-Macon to just 10 points as E&H opened its
ODAC schedule with a 17-10 win. Sproles recorded 10 or more
tackles for the third straight week, and now leads the ODAC with 53
total tackles. He made 11 stops from his linebacker position,
but also intercepted a pair of passes. His second
interception preserved a 3-0 second quarter lead and perhaps the
flow of the rest of the game as he intercepted a pass in the Wasps'
end zone with R-MC on the three-yard line. E&H scored on
the ensuing drive, opening up a 10-0 advantage.
