Hollerith, a freshman from Richmond, Va., helped lead the
Generals to a 35-24 victory over Sewanee on Saturday, which marked
Washington and Lee's 16th straight home victory. Hollerith
ran for 158 yards and three touchdowns on just 22 carries for an
average of 6.9 yards per rush. His efforts were a large part
of W&L's 458-yard rushing day, the seventh-best single-game
total in ODAC history. Hollerith's first two touchdown runs
broke ties with the Tigers, and his final score broke the game open
late in the third quarter. Hollerith is currently eighth in
the ODAC with 213 yards rushing to go with four touchdowns via the
ground.
