McGhee, a senior from Fishersville, Va., picks up his second
weekly award as he accounted for all four Randolph-Macon touchdowns
in the Yellow Jackets' 27-21 triumph over Washington and Lee.
McGhee ran for 189 yards on 31 carries, good enough for a 6.1
yard-per-carry average. He opened the game's scoring on
R-MC's first drive with a 40-yard scamper. He made it 14-0
Jackets late in the second frame with a 16-yard burst. His
third score was a 6-yard effort midway thru the third quarter for a
21-7 R-MC advantage. After W&L posted two touchdowns to
knot the game at 21-all, McGhee capped an 11-play 66-yard drive
with a 3-yard TD run with 3:26 to play to provide Randolph-Macon
its winning margin. He accounted for 44 of the 66 yards on
that drive. McGhee leads the ODAC with 1,006 rushing yards,
needing just six games to become the first ODAC back to crack 1,000
yards this season.
