Clifford, a junior from Salem, Va., is the first student-athlete from Ferrum to earn an ODAC weekly honor. Clifford was stellar behind center as he was 13-of-16 passing (81.3%) for 246 yards and a school-record four touchdowns. He and Nick Pearce connected a 60-yard touchdown pass, the longest play from scrimmage on the day. That was the only big play as Clifford and Johnny White combined on two passing scores including a 50-yard touchdown to open the game's scoring. Quentin Wallace caught the fourth TD throw from Clifford. On the ground, the Panthers quarterback carried the ball 14 times for 71 yards including a 1-yard touchdown midway thru the third quarter. For the season, Clifford has thrown for 533 yards and nine touchdowns against just one interception. He's also run for 162 yards and three touchdowns.
