Aaron Moore, Bridgewater, Jr., Safety

Moore, a junior from Roanoke, Va., continued his torrid start to the season with another stellar effort in the Eagles 58-10 victory over Southern Virginia. Moore, who was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his efforts against Gettysburg, played a part in three of the six turnovers Bridgewater's defense forced against the Knights. His first takeaway came late in the first quarter when he intercepted a pass and returned it seven yards to the Eagles' 37-yard line. That eventually was converted into a Bridgewater touchdown at the outset of the second frame. Moore, who tied for team high honors with seven tackles, hauled in another errant SVU pass midway through the third quarter. This time his returned concluded 20 yards later in the Knights' end zone for an Eagles touchdown. That pick-six marked his second straight effort in as many games following last week's 35-yard return score. Moore capped his day with a fumble recovery late in the third quarter, which the Eagles offense again used to score a touchdown. Through two games, Moore has registered 12 tackles (10 solo) with an ODAC-best three interceptions.
