Wood hooked up with Watkins on a nine-yard run-pass option sprint out to the weak side. After faking a handoff, Wood rolled to his left and found Watkins out the out towards the sideline where he reached the ball over the line for the game's final points with 3:04 left in the third quarter. That capped a 15-play drive that covered 77 yards in 8:26. For the season, Wood has thrown for 764 yards and seven touchdowns on 69-of-108 passing. He has also run for 104 yard and a touchdown.
