Cassada, a junior from Charlotte, N.C., earns her second weekly honor of the season. Cassada swam in four events against Gettysburg, claiming wins in three events, while swimming exhibition in the final relay. She finished tops in the 100-yard backstroke with an ODAC seasonal-best time of 1:01.87. She went on to claim the other backstroke event, winning the 200-yard back in a time of 2:16.79. Cassada also swam a leg on the 200-yard medley relay team, helping the squad to a first-place finish (1:54.82). She was also part of the 200-yard free relay that recorded a time of 1:46.48 while swimming exhibition.

Danielle Dillon, Bridgewater College,
Sophomore
Dillon won three individual events to propel the Eagles to a
tri-meet victory on Saturday afternoon in Nininger Pool. Dillon set
a new school mark in the 100 meter freestyle race, with a winning
time of 1:04.67. The Roanoke, Va. native also claimed individual
victories in the 400 (5:14.37) and 800 (10:42.78) meter freestyle
events. Finally, Dillon swam the second leg on Bridgewater’s
victorious 200-meter freestyle relay squad (2:05.92).
Sarah Almond, Randolph-Macon College, Junior
Almond won the 50-yard freestyle (25.94) and 200-yard
backstroke (2:19.99) and was part of the second place 200-yard
medley relay (1:59.22) in R-MC’s 123-37 dual meet win over
Greensboro on Saturday.
