Jessica Richardson, Emory & Henry, Sr.

Richardson, a senior from Vero Beach, Fla., put herself in the Emory & Henry record books for the second time in as many weeks in helping the Wasps defeat a pair of scholarship-granting programs in King College (115-74) and Milligan College (135-29). Richardson won the 200-meter freestyle in 2:17.85, which converts to 2:04.18 for the NCAA standard of short-course yards. In the 100-meter backstroke, she etched her name in the E&H record books for the second time in 13 days in winning the event in 1:08.22. That translates to 1:01.45, which ranks inside the ODAC's top-seven. Richardson also helped E&H win the 200-meter medley relay in 2:13.46. Her backstroke 50-meter split of 0:31.53 converts to 0:28.40.

Laney Sanchez, Randolph-Macon (Fr.)
Sanchez continued her strong first season in Ashland with three event wins in helping R-MC defeat Ferrum and Greensboro. She won the 100-breastroke in 1:12.22, the 100-free in 0:57.32, and the 100-butterfly in 1:06.64. Her 100-breaststroke time is exactly one-second off her previous season-best. She also helped R-MC win the 200-free relay in 1:49.33.
