Xavier Williams, Roanoke, Jr.

Williams, a junior from Newtown, Conn., helped lead Roanoke to a second place finish at the season-opening ODAC Relays as the Maroons came up one point shy of Washington and Lee in the team standings. Williams played a part in five of Roanoke's six relay victories and posted the meet's top 50-yard (20.85) and 100-yard (46.88) freestyle splits (non-record eligible). He and his Maroons' teammates won the 3x50-yard backstroke (1:13.55), 4x100-yard freestyle (3:11.58), 500-yard freestyle (4:11.50), 4x50-yard freestyle (1:26.97), and 4x50-yard medley (1:35.83) relays. Williams was an All-ODAC First Team honor as a first-year last season.

*The ODAC Relays features several events that will not be competed at any other meet this season.

 - won the 200-IM (2:07.56) in a dual with Southern Virginia
 - competed in 5 relays at the ODAC Relays with 12th place showings in the 4x50 free (1:36.82) and 4x50 medley (1:50.15) relays
