Bateman, a first-year from Fredericksburg, Va., won a team-high three individual events in the Generals 162-90 dual meet victory over Lynchburg over the weekend. Bateman posted a winning time in the 100-yard butterfly of 0:52.98, which is second in the ODAC this season only to his own previous best time (0:52.73). He also won the 50-yard freestyle in 0:21.90 and the 100-yard freestyle in 0:48.54. Both of those times rank third in the conference.
