Martinson, a sophomore from Charlotte, N.C., helped Washington and Lee secure a 153-103 dual meet victory over Lynchburg with a trio of individual event victories and one relay win. Martinson set new ODAC season-best times in the 50-yard, 100-yard, and 200-yard freestyles. Her 50-free time of 0:24.20 ranks 12th in Division III, while her mark of 0:53.16 in the 100-free is the 14th fastest time in the country. Her time of 1:57.47 in the 200-free sits 33rd. Martinson and teammates Caroline Baber, Claudia Barnett, and Sophia Rollo won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:38.93. That time is tops in the ODAC and seventh nationally.
