Brynn Martinson, Washington and Lee, So.

Martinson, a sophomore from Charlotte, N.C., picks up her second weekly award of the season after winning three individual events and participating in three gold medal relays to help Washington and Lee to first place among 11 teams in a strong field at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational in Lancaster, Pa. All six of Martinson's events resulted in ODAC season-best times. Individually, she won the 50-yard freestyle in 0:23.83, the 100-yard freestyle in 0:52.29, and the 200-yard freestyle in 1:54.45. Those marks rank 11th, 16th, and 25th in NCAA Division III, respectively. Martinson then joined her Generals teammates for wins in the 200-yard medley, 200-yard freestyle, and 400-yard freestyle relays with respective times of 1:46.31, 1:35.43, and 3:30.06. The 200-freestyle unit -- with Martinson swimming the lead leg followed by Caroline Baber, Claudia Barnett, and Sophia Rollo -- eclipsed the Division III "B-cut" standard. Both the 200- and 400-freestyle relay times rank fourth nationally while W&L's 200-medley relay time sits 14th in the country.
