ElzHowe, a first-year from Georgetown, Texas, helped Sweet Briar close the 2021 calendar year with a 133-53 dual meet victory over Hollins University on Saturday. ElzHowe won a pair of individual swims and joined one relay victory as the Vixens won all but two events on the day. She joined teammates Kass Carpenter, Devin Montgomery, and Jillian Lewis in winning the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay in 2:04.58. ElzHowe went on to stop the watches first in the 100-yard butterfly and 500-yard freestyle with times of 1:01.05 and 5:30.13, respectively. Her 100-fly time sits 12th on the ODAC charts, while her 500-free mark is 1.17 seconds off her previous season-best, which slots 11th in the conference.
