  • ODAC Winter and Spring Sportsmanship Teams Announced
    August 20, 2015
    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2014-15 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in each of the 17 winter and spring sports sponsored by the conference. This marks the sixth year the league has recognized these fine student-athletes for their excellence in sportsmanship.
  • Generals Fall to Fredonia State in NCAA Regional Round
    May 16, 2015
    The 17th-ranked Fredonia women's lacrosse team used a three-goal run in the second half to pull away for a 9-5 win over 10th-ranked Washington and Lee on Saturday afternoon in the regional round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at Tylus Field.
  • Generals Down Sewanee in NCAA Women's Lacrosse Second Round

    Junior attacker Melissa Coggins tallied five points on two goals and three assists in the 10th-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team's 18-4 victory over Sewanee in second round action of the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament at Watt Field on Sunday.
  • W&L's Mulligan Headlines ODAC Women's Lacrosse Awards

    Washington and Lee goalkeeper Cara Mulligan was named the ODAC Player of the Year by the league's head coaches, highlighting the 2015 All-ODAC Women's Lacrosse awards. Randolph-Macon mentor MK Geratowski was tabbed the ODAC Coach of the Year, while Virginia Wesleyan midfielder Megan Schallock took home ODAC Rookie of the Year accolades. Shenandoah midfielder Liz Bereit earned the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete award.
  • Washington and Lee to Host NCAA Second Round Matchup

    Washington and Lee University will be the lone squad to represent the ODAC in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament, as announced by the NCAA on www.ncaa.com Sunday evening. The Generals earn a bye thru the first round of play and will host Sewanee in the second round.
  • Washington and Lee Wins 16th ODAC Women's Lacrosse Title

    The 10th-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team scored five straight goals over a span of 25 minutes en route to claiming the 2015 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship with an 8-7 victory over Randolph-Macon on Saturday at Watt Field.

  • Pairings Set for ODAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament

    Reigning ODAC champion Washington and Lee University (13-2 overall, 10-0 ODAC) secured the top seed in the upcoming ODAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament as the Generals completed the regular season with an unblemished 10-0 record in league play. They earn one of two byes into the semifinals, with the other going to second-seeded Randolph-Macon College (13-3, 9-1).

  • Generals Lead ODAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll

    Five-time defending ODAC champion Washington and Lee University leads the 2015 ODAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll, garnering 99 total points and nine first place votes from the league's head coaches. Roanoke College sits second with 84 points, while Randolph-Macon College occupies third with 78 tallies and one top nod. Shenandoah University received the remaining first place vote, holding down the fourth spot with 74 points.
