Emily Rollo, Washington and Lee, Fr.

Rollo, a freshman from Haddonfield, N.J., posted two individual victories in the Generals dual match against Mary Washington and then aided in three first place and two second place relays at the ODAC Relays on Saturday.  Against Mary Washington, Rollo placed first in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstrokes, touching the wall in 1:02.78 and 2:14.38, respectively. She also placed second in the 200-yard IM (2:16.99) and was a member of the 200-yard medley relay that placed fourth (1:55.82). At the ODAC Relays, she swam the last leg of the 150-yard backstroke relay that finished first (1:24.92) and was the third leg in the 100-yard dolphin kick relay that touched the wall first and was the only squad under one minute (56.18). Rollo led off the 300-yard IM relay that clocked in first in a time of 3:10.40. She was also a member of the 400-yard free relay (3:42.81) and the 150-yard butterfly relay(1:22.31) teams that captured second place.

Swimming Honor Roll

Carrie Crowther, Bridgewater (Sr. - Burgess, Va.)
Crowther competed in four relays at the ODAC relays, helping Bridgewater to a second, third (x2) and fifth place finishes.  She swam a leg of the second place 8x25-yard freestyle relay (1:42), as well as the third place 150-yard butterfly (1:25.68) and 200-yard freestyle (1:45.94) relay teams.  BC's 400-yard medley relay team placed fifth (3:56.91).

Jessica Richardson, Emory & Henry (Fr. - Vero Beach, Fla.)
Richardson helped lead E&H to second place in the team standings at the ODAC Relays.  She competed in five events, helping the Wasps to four first place and one second place showing.  Richardson and Wasps set a new pool and school record in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:42.42).  They also set a Twombly Pool record in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:40.80).  Richardson helped E&H to a win in the 150-yard butterfly relay (1:22.31), and then swaw the fly leg of the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:54.02).  The 150-yard backstroke relay team finished second (1:26.25).

Emily Plowman, Randolph-Macon (Fr. - Chesapeake, Va.)
Plowman competed in four relays, combining with her teammates on a third place, two fourth place and a 10th place finish at the ODAC Relays.  In the 8x25-yard relay, Plowman and R-MC finished third in 1:43.97.  They came in fourth in the 200-yard (1:46.32) and 400-yard (3:56.59) freestyle relays.  The 500-yard freestyle relay placed 10th (5:32.91).
