Elisabeth Holmes, Washington and Lee, Fr.

Holmes, a freshman from Raleigh, N.C., picks up her third weekly honor of the season after helping the Generals to first place at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational.  Holmes swam in five events, posting one first-place and two runner-up individual finishes in addition to a pair of relay wins.  She established new ODAC seasonal top times in each of her three individual races.  She won the 500-yard freestyle, finishing just one-second off the ODAC record with a time of 5:04.55.  She also finished second in the 200-yard (1:55.55) and the 1650-yard (17:40.86) freestyles, setting a new W&L standard in the former.  Holmes and her teammates moved atop the conference's top times in the 400-yard freestyle relay, posting a winning time of 3:36.01.  They also won the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:54.11).

Swimming Honor Roll

Emily Townsend, Bridgewater (So. - Hampton, Va.)
Townsend helped the Eagles to a tri-meet win -- 135-67 over Greensboro and 164-39 over Guilford -- by competing in three races.  She won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.04) and finished third in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.90).  She and her teammates won the 400-yard medley relay (4:27.16).

Sierra Collins, Randolph-Macon (Fr. - Ronda, N.C.)
Collins won the 500 freestyle (5:38.74) and finished second in the 200 IM (2:21.06) in a dual meet against Marymount (Va.).  she and her teammates finished second in the 200 free relay (1:43.95).
