Emory & Henry Wins ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll

FOREST, Va. --- For the first time since weeks one and two, Emory & Henry College returns to the winners' circle in the ODAC Football Play of the Week fan poll. The Wasps' 100-yard interception return for a touchdown by Tre'von Lightfoot bested four other highlights in a tight race.

Emory & Henry has seen its fair share of big plays during its current four-game winning streak. That trend continued via the services of Tre'von Lightfoot as the Wasps defensive back pulled in an overthrown pass in the end zone and weaved his way more than 100 yards for a touchdown. The score gave E&H a 21-14 lead in what would become a 38-27 win over Catholic.

This week's five nominees resulted in over 3,000 interactions on YouTube and the ODAC website.  Lightfoot's long-distance pick-six received 40.42-percent of the vote from ODAC football fans, narrowly edging out a game-sealing TD pass for Bridgewater (38.15%)
