FOREST, Va. --- For the first time this season, we have a back-to-back winner in the ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll. Bridgewater College collects its third overall win thru seven weeks of the season will two-sport star Alex Galloway featured in the spotlight.

Bridgewater posted several big plays in its 42-21 setback to Hampden-Sydney. And none were bigger – or longer – than Galloway’s kickoff return midway thru the third quarter. Galloway put his track star speed on display after fielding a kickoff near the goal line. He wasted no time bursting thru a hole and then beat H-SC’s kicker to the angle. He coasted the rest of the way for a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown, tying Bridgewater and NCAA records in the process. He later added a 43-yard TD on his only rush of the game.

This week's six nominees were voted on by more than 250 ODAC football fans and garnered more than 3,600 impressions, views, and interactions on the ODAC website, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Galloway's sprint earned 56.3-percent of the vote.
