Nance, a junior from Calhoun, Ga., had a hand in five of
Hampden-Sydney's six offensive touchdowns as the Tigers knocked off
previously ODAC-unbeaten Guilford and moved into a three-way tie
atop the conference ranks. Nance completed 76.2-percent of
his passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns. He completed
passes to nine different receivers on the day, including scoring
strikes to Eric Gorsline, Holton Walker and Joey Kernan.
Nance also led all rushers in the contest with a season-high
92 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Nance currently
leads the ODAC with 2,254 passing yards and is second in touchdown
passes with 17.
