ODAC Announces Berkley and Jopson Award WinnersJune 04, 2019The latter end of the ODAC's alphabet features in the final recognition bestowed by the conference this year as Virginia Wesleyan University and Washington and Lee University are home to the 2018-19 Marjorie Berkley and Harry G. "Doc" Jopson Scholar-Athlete Award winners. Marlins women's basketball playmaker Jayla Harris earned the Berkley Award, while Generals cross country and track & field runner Hank Patrick received the Jopson Award following a vote of the conference's Board of Directors.

NATIONAL CHAMPION! Womack's Feat Headlines NCAA Track & Field PerformancesMay 25, 2019His tweet about it contained seven exclamation points. Davonta Womack's text-based celebration was a reaction to the fact that the Bridgewater senior had just become "the fastest man in NCAA Division III" after winning the men's 100-meter dash on the final day of the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

BC's Womack, Hiegel Highlight ODAC Athletes Thru Day 2 at NCAA TrackMay 24, 2019Davonta Womack went record hunting and both he and Jamie Hiegel earned All-American honors as the Bridgewater duo highlights performances by ODAC athletes thru the first two days of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The season-ending meet concludes on Saturday at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

ODAC Features 15 Entries in NCAA Track & Field ChampionshipsMay 20, 2019For the 10th time in conference history and first time since 2015, ODAC member school representation at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships will feature 10 or more student-athletes when competition kicks off on Thursday, May 23. The championships span three days with the University of Mount Union and the Great Cleveland Sports Commission serving as hosts at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Lynchburg, Bridgewater Repeat as Outdoor Track & Field Team ChampionshipsApril 20, 2019One title race was a runaway while the other was a nail-biter that came down to the last event as action closed amid further threatening weather at the 2019 ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. By the end of day two at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Va., the team champions were familiar sights with the University of Lynchburg women hoisting a second straight women's trophy and Bridgewater College repeating as men's champion with its fourth crown in the past five year.

ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship PreviewApril 18, 2019The ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships head to a new location this weekend as the 2019 affair will be hosted by Randolph College in Lynchburg, Va., for the first time in program history. WildCat Stadium will serve as the main venue with throwing areas surrounding the grounds.

Owens Tabbed to Lead Guilford Track & Field and Cross CountrySeptember 13, 2018Guilford College Athletics Director Sue Bower appointed Marty Owens as the Quakers’ first director of cross country and track and field Thursday. Owens comes to Guilford after completing 15 years as the head cross country and head track and field coach at Susquehanna University.

ODAC Announces 2017-18 Sportsmanship TeamsAugust 10, 2018The Old Dominion Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2017-18 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in each of the conference's 24 sponsored sports. The squads are comprised of a student-athlete selected by the coaching staffs of each team competing under the conference banner with all sports and schools fully represented.

Wasps Tab Cheromei to Lead Cross Country and New Track & Field ProgramAugust 01, 2018David Cheromei, who led Virginia Intermont College to historic success as a student-athlete, has been named the head coach for the Emory & Henry College men's & women's cross country/track & field teams.
