    Bridgewater College and Lynchburg College will both be travelling to Salisbury, Maryland, as the ODAC-members schools are two of the seven teams playing the in South Region bracket of the 2009 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament. The entire NCAA field features 59 teams spread amongst five seven-team and three eight-team regions.

    Randolph's Lindsay Cross and Lynchburg's Barbie Miles head the All-ODAC Softball Teams as the duo were named the ODAC Player and Pitcher of the Year. Jen Steele (Randolph) took home the top coaching award while fellow WildCat, Teresa Dalton, was selected as the ODAC ROY. LC’s Brittany Allsop was named the ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete.
