  • Taylor, Webb Academic All-Americans
    June 29, 2009
    Washington and Lee seniors Becca Taylor and Elizabeth Webb have been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine College Division Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field Team as selected by CoSIDA. Both Taylor and Webb were tabbed to the third team.
  • WLU's Webb Awarded NCAA Scholarship

    Washington and Lee cross country and track & field athlete Elizabeth Webb has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships. The award is a $7,500 scholarship for academic work beyond the baccalaureate degree as a full-time or part-time graduate student.
  • USTFCCCA Releases All-Academic Teams

    Washington and Lee, Lynchburg and Roanoke each earned team recognition on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams. The Generals also placed five runners on the individual lists while the Hornets placed a pair.
  • LC Men, WLU Women Win ODAC Titles

    Lynchburg and Washington and Lee split the ODAC Cross Country Championship races on Saturday at Virginia Beach. The Hornets’ came out on top in the men’s 8K race while the Generals’ earned #1 billing through the women’s 6K race. LC’s Ricky Flynn and WLU’s Jessica Shaw were the top individuals.
  • Coaches’ Tab WLU for XC Crown

    Washington and Lee earned seven first place votes in the ODAC Men’s Cross Country Preseason Poll, topping the survey with 95 total poll points. Lynchburg came away with two top billings and 83 total points while 2007 runner-up Bridgewater registered 82 points and the remaining top tally.
  • WLU Women Picked to Win ODAC Title

    Washington and Lee earned 79 total points and seven first place votes in the annual ODAC Women’s Cross Country Preseason Poll. Roanoke (68 pts.) and Lynchburg (67 pts.) are separated by only one point with each garnering one top vote.
