Guilford College third baseman Rylan Smith was tabbed the ODAC Rookie of the Year, and Washington and Lee University outfield Mitchell Salvino earned ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year accolades from the conference's athletic communications personnel.

Top-seeded University of Lynchburg punched its ticket to the final weekend on Monday afternoon, completing the set of four teams that will be competing at Pitt Field at the University of Richmond. Joining Lynchburg in the double-elimination three-day affair is second-seeded Shenandoah University, third-seeded Roanoke College, and fourth-seeded Randolph-Macon College.
  • Lynchburg Leads ODAC Baseball Tournament Field

    Weather this weekend forced the ODAC regular season to extend by a couple of days, but the 2023 baseball schedule is now complete. Hornets headline the eight-team championship field led by top-seed University of Lynchburg (19-3) and defending champion Shenandoah University (18-4) as the #2 seed. ODAC teams will compete over two weekends to determine the conference champion and which school will earn the league's automatic entry into the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship bracket. The first weekend will feature the top four seeds hosting the lower four seeded teams in four best-of-three series. Those games are slated for Friday-Saturday, May 5-7. Days for the games could be altered due to graduation ceremonies on member campuses. The four series winners will be reseeded (if necessary) and continue competition at Pitt Field on the campus of the University of Richmond. The double-elimination competition is slated for Thursday-Saturday, May 11-13.
