ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 6

Who will be the winner of this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week?  It's all up to you!

Each week, our member schools submit plays to the conference office for your consideration for the ODAC Play of the Week.  Watch each of the entries below and then vote for the play that you think is the best of the week in the poll at the bottom of the page.  Each week's winner will be announced on Wednesday afternoons.  The winners will be eligible for the ODAC Football Play of the Year at the end of the season!

PLAY 1: EMORY & HENRY AT BRIDGEWATER   PLAY 2: HAMPDEN-SYDNEY AT WASHINGTON AND LEE
Description: Early in the fourth quarter, the Wasps were forced to punt with a 28-7 lead.  They downed the kick on the one-yard line.  On Bridgewater's first play of their drive, defensive back Tre'von Lightfoot recovered to intercept the Eagles' pass attempt with their receiver behind the defense.  The interception was Lightfoot's second of the day.  E&H went on to win the game, 34-21.   Description: Hampden-Sydney used a bit of trickery early in the second quarter against Washington and Lee. Facing second-and-nine on the Generals' 31-yard line, the Tigers set up a screen to Holton Walker to the right. Walker then threw it back to the left to quarterback Nash Nance, who took it the distance for his first receiving touchdown.  H-SC went on to win the game, 55-32.
 

 
PLAY 3: RANDOLPH-MACON VS. CATHOLIC   PLAY 4: SHENANDOAH VS. GUILFORD
Description: Early in the fourth quarter, Catholic cut Randolph-Macon's lead to 28-14.  On the second play of the subsequent drive, Yellow Jackets' running back John Byrd eluded several tacklers on the his way down the sideline 68 yards for a touchdown.  It was his second score of the game.  R-MC went on to win, 42-21.   Description: Leading 25-10 at the outset of the third quarter, Shenandoah defensive back Josh White added pushed the Hornets' lead to 22 points as he intercepted a pass and returned it 35-yards for a touchdown.  It was the first INT thrown by Guilford quarterback Matt Pawlowski this season, and is the second pick-six for White this season.  SU went on to win, 47-31.
