ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 11

Who will be the winner of this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week?  It's all up to you!

Each week, our member schools submit plays to the conference office for your consideration for the ODAC Play of the Week.  Watch each of the entries below and then vote for the play that you think is the best of the week in the poll at the bottom of the page.  Each week's winner will be announced on Wednesday afternoons.  The winners will be eligible for the ODAC Football Play of the Year at the end of the season!

PLAY 1: BRIDGEWATER AT CATHOLIC   PLAY 2: GUILFORD AT EMORY & HENRY
Description: Early in the fourth quarter, running back Jacob Wright put the finishing touches on his final game in Bridgewater colors.  He took a pitch and made two would-be tacklers miss as he made his way around the corner off left tackle for a 36-yard touchdown run.  It was his fourth score of the day, capping a 25-carry, 141-yard afternoon.  Bridgewater defeated Catholic, 40-13, for its eighth victory of the season.   Description: Emory & Henry pulled to within three points at 31-28 with 11:55 to play in the game.  On their next possession, receiver Austen Thompson and quarterback Matt Pawlowski capped an eight-play 61-yard drive with an eight-yard touchdown pass with Thompson laying out to pull it in.  It was the second of three scores on the day for Thompson and fourth of five TD passes for Pawlowski, returning a 10-point advantage to GC at 38-28 with 7:59 to go. Guilford would go on to win, 52-28.
 

 
PLAY 3: RANDOLPH-MACON AT HAMPDEN-SYDNEY   PLAY 4: WASHINGTON AND LEE VS. SHENANDOAH
Description: Unable to get its offense on track early in the game, Hampden-Sydney pulled to with 14-7 of Randolph-Macon with 00:33 to go in the third quarter.  R-MC responded with a big play to end the third stanza as Zac Naccarato connected with tight end Steve Quinn with a 30-yard catch-and-run.  That play started a six-play 68-yard drive that saw the Yellow Jackets restore their two-touchdown lead, 21-7, with 12:43 to play.  R-MC would go on to win, 24-10.   Description: Leading by just four points at 27-23 with less than four minutes to play, W&L running back Jimmy Dugan put an exclamation point on his best rushing day of the season.  He took an inside hand-off and burst thru a hole in the middle of Shendoah's defense.  His sprint continued for 57 yards to the end zone to put the Generals' ahead, 34-23 with 3:38 to go.  W&L would go on to win, 40-23, with Dugan racking up 143 yards on just six carries.
