PLAY 1: BRIDGEWATER AT GREENSBORO

PLAY 2: HAMPDEN-SYDNEY AT CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT

Description: Leading 24-7 entering the fourth quarter, Bridgewater put icing on the cake in its victory at Greensboro. Quarterback Ross Rushing avoided the rush and then found Aaron-David Beidleman, who took advantage of a bad angle taken by the defensive and turned a 20-yard out into an 80-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown.   Description: Points were at a premium in Hampden-Sydney's win at Christopher Newport, especially when heavy rains prior to the game made for sluggish footing. But that didn't keep Larry Haskins from setting up the Tigers' first touchdown of the day as he redirected himself to intercept a tipped pass in the Captains end of the field with the score tied 3-all late in the second quarter. Four plays later, H-SC punched in a touchdown to take a 10-3 edge into halftime.

PLAY 3: RANDOLPH-MACON AT AVERETT

PLAY 4: SHENANDOAH VS. FERRUM

Description: Randolph-Macon's offense put together several big plays in posting a school-record 716 yards of total offense.  The biggest came midway thru the second quarter when quarterback Joseph Vairo's play-fake gave free to run to receiver Christian Redman. Vairo hit Redman for a 74-yard touchdown and a 14-0 lead on the way to victory.
Description: Shenandoah's offense dominated Ferrum on this day, thanks in part to 290 yards and four touchdowns passing from quarterback Hayden Bauserman.  He and Jalen Brisco -- who caught five passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns -- connected on a 59-yard scoring play as Brisco hauled in a 35-yard bullet from Bauserman for a 35-20 lead with 12:23 to play.

PLAY 5: WASHINGTON AND LEE VS. SEWANEE

Description: Washington and Lee's rushing attack has been at full force over the first two weeks of the season, evidenced by 1,056 yards on the ground over the first two games. Runs like this 82-yard jaunt by quarterback Charlie Nelson certainly help the cause. The Generals' signal-caller faked once to an inside back and used his outside pitch option as a decoy to sprint thru the left side and on to pay-dirt for a 21-0 W&L advantage early in the second quarter.
