Randolph-Macon Wins ODAC Football Play of the Week Award

FOREST, Va. --- Week two of the 2015 ODAC Football Play of the Week fan poll gave fans the chance to weigh in on five big plays from last weekend.  Randolph-Macon College earned a majority of the votes, beating Bridgewater College to the final bell and wrapping up its first win of the early season.

Randolph-Macon's offense put together several big plays in posting a school-record 716 yards of total offense.  The biggest came midway thru the second quarter when quarterback Joseph Vairo's play-fake gave free to run to receiver Christian Redman. Vairo hit Redman for a 74-yard touchdown and a 14-0 lead on the way to victory.

This week's five nominees were viewed 1,200 times on YouTube and the ODAC website.  Randolph-Macon's 74-yard catch-and-run garnered 44.4-percent of the vote, besting Bridgewater (39.0%) upon the poll's closing.
