Randolph-Macon Wins Second ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll

Randolph-Macon Wins Second ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll

FOREST, Va. --- Week eight of the ODAC Football Play of the Week fan poll gave us not only a repeat winner, but an end-to-end victor from this week's voting.  Randolph-Macon College jumped out the gates and pushed forward to claim its second win of the season behind Christian Redman's 50-yard pass play from quarterback Joe McBride.

Facing a 2nd-and-10 from its own 39-yard line, Randolph-Macon used a big play to get into the red zone.  McBride hit Redman on a perfect-weighted 50-yard pass to the Shenandoah 11-yard line. It led to a go-ahead touchdown pass from McBride to Steven Quinn on 4th-and-2 from SU 3-yard line as R-MC took the lead for good with 3:55 left in first half.

This week's five nominees were viewed more than 800 times on YouTube and the ODAC website.  McBride-to-Redman's 50-yard pass play received 63.04-percent of the vote, eclipsing the previous season-high of 61.92-percent received by Washington and Lee in week seven.
