  • W&L Earns Three Major ODAC Swimming Awards

    Washington and Lee placed 10 swimmers on the 2009 All-ODAC First Team and took home three major awards stemming from the 2009 ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championships at Radford last month. Swimmers from R-MC and SBC rounded out the teams.
  • WLU Competes at NCAA Championships

    Washington and Lee swimming competed at the 2009 NCAA Division III National Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota, over the past few days. Lindsay Strachan earned Honorable All-America honors in the 200-yard backstroke.
  • WLU Wins 19th ODAC Swimming Title

    Washington and Lee won 14 of 18 events on its way to winning its 19th ODAC swimming title and the 2009 ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championship Crown. In full competition, the Generals registered 951 points and 1,010 points when separating the results on an ODAC-only basis.
  • Swimmers Prepare for ODAC Meet

    Swimming for the ODAC schools has been in a two-week hiatus since the end of the regular season of dual meets and invitational events. Teams have been preparing for the ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championships on February 13-15 at Radford University's Dedmon Center Natatorium.

    Washington and Lee senior Lindsey Strachan (Midlothian, Va./Governor’s School) was tabbed by CollegeSwimming.com as the Division III Women’s National Swimmer of the Week for the week ending December 14.
  • Washington and Lee Headlines ODAC Swimming Poll

    Washington and Lee University has won 18 ODAC women’s swimming titles, capturing the league crown all but once since the 1994 season. In an annual survey of the league’s coaches, the Generals were picked to add to their pool pedigree as they sit atop the 2008-09 ODAC Swimming Preseason Poll.
