Lynchburg's Gill Leads Long List of ODAC Honorees by USILA
May 20, 2014Lynchburg College defenseman Jon Gill leads a long list of student-athletes garnering postseason recognition from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Assocation. Gill is one of four ODAC representatives on USILA All-American Teams, while five others earned honorable mention status. The USILA also recognized its Scholar All-Americans and those competing in the annual North/South All-Star Game. -
Washington College Tops LC in NCAA Men's Lacrosse Second Round
May 10, 2014Washington College outscored the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team 7-3 in the second half Saturday afternoon and WC captured a 10-7 victory in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. LC finishes its season with a 17-5 overall record. -
Lynchburg's Drubs Sewanee in NCAA Men's Lacrosse Opener
May 07, 2014The Lynchburg College began its 2014 NCAA Tournament run in style, defeating Sewanee University of the South, 25-4, on Wednesday night. With the victory, LC will advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight year. They'll travel to Washington College (Md.) on Saturday. -
Lynchburg to Host Sewanee in NCAA Men's Lacrosse First Round
May 04, 2014Lynchburg College learned its position in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament on Sunday evening as the ODAC champions were selected to host a first round contest on Wednesday. The lone ODAC representative in the 30-team field, the Hornets will welcome Sewanee to Shellenberger Field. -
Lynchburg Earns Fifth ODAC Men's Lacrosse Title
May 04, 2014Sophomore attack Austin Stewart posted seven goals Sunday as the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team defeated Hampden-Sydney, 21-13, in the finals of the 2014 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship Tournament. It is the fifth ODAC title in program history and the second in the last three seasons (2012). -

Marlins' Currier Leads ODAC Men's Lacrosse Awards
May 02, 2014Virginia Wesleyan College's Josh Currier turned his record-setting season into an ODAC Player of the Year nod as the Marlins' attackman headlines the 2014 All-ODAC Men's Lacrosse Awards. Roanoke College mentor Bill Pilat received ODAC Coach of the Year honors, while fellow Maroon, Kevin Jackson, earned ODAC Rookie of the Year laurels. Washington and Lee University's Cameron Dabir was tabbed the ODAC/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete by the league's sports information directors. -
ODAC Players of the Week: April 28, 2014
April 28, 2014Randolph-Macon senior midfielder Jason Andrews is the final weekly award winner of the 2013-14 athletic campaign. He helped the Yellow Jackets wrap up the fifth seed in the upcoming ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament with a 17-point week that included 13 goals and four assists in a pair of league wins. -
ODAC Men’s Lacrosse Tournament Set
April 26, 2014It took tiebreakers to separate the top three seeds of the ODAC men's lacrosse standings, employing the conference's fourth step for men's lacrosse. Roanoke College (12-4 overall, 8-1) was awarded the top seed thru goal differential amongst the three tied squads. The Maroons also receive one of two byes thru the quarterfinals and will serve as host for the semifinals and finals on May 3-4 in Salem. -

Lynchburg Tops ODAC Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll
February 04, 2014Lynchburg College collected six first place votes on the way to 78 total poll points to headline the 2014 ODAC Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll. LC is followed closely by reigning conference champion Roanoke College, which secured four top nods and 76 tallies. Washington and Lee University rounds out the top three with 64 points in the annual coach’s survey. -
Marshall Tabbed for Men's Lacrosse Post at Shenandoah
August 13, 2013Shenandoah University Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Doug Zipp announced Tuesday that Tim Marshall has accepted the university's offer to become its next head men's lacrosse coach. Marshall, a 2007 Dickinson College graduate, is the fourth head coach in program history and comes to Shenandoah after serving for the past two seasons as the defensive coordinator at his alma mater.
