Kyle Hartfield, Bridgewater, Jr., #1 Singles, #1 DoublesApril 25, 2016Hartfield, a junior from Marietta, Ga., helped the Eagles pick up a pair of conference wins and move into sole possession of third place in the ODAC standings. Hartfield won twice at top-flight singles as Bridgewater defeated Randolph (5-2) and Emory & Henry (9-0). He pulled out a 4-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-4) triumph over Randolph's Bradley Strober, and then put together a 6-4, 6-3 victory over John Dalton Ferguson in BC's win over the Wasps. Hartfield and doubles partner Joe Dillenbeck earned an 8-2 win over E&H to rebound from a close 9-7 setback against Randolph. Hartfield is 9-7 this spring at #1 singles, including an 8-2 mark against ODAC foes.

Drew Tomajczyk, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr., #4 Singles, #3 DoublesApril 18, 2016Tomajczyk, a senior from Newport News, Va., posted a 4-0 week to lead Virginia Wesleyan to a pair of ODAC wins, including the first Marlins victory over Washington and Lee in program history. Tomajczyk was the lone player in VWC's lineup to secure to points against the Generals. He and teammate Spenser Bullock won 8-2 at #3 doubles. Tomajczyk then provided the deciding point with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 win at #4 singles to secure a 5-4 Marlins team win and the first ODAC regular season setback for W&L since 2010. Earlier in the week, Tomajczyk helped VWC to a 9-0 victory over Randolph-Macon. He won 6-2, 7-5 at #4 singles and joined Brendan Kelleher for an 8-1 victory at #3 doubles.

Bradley Strober, Randolph, So., #1 Singles, #1 DoublesApril 11, 2016Strober, a sophomore from Stockton, N.J., helped the WildCats to a 1-1 week that included the WildCats' first team victory over Randolph-Macon in program history. Strober won 6-2, 6-2 at #1 singles and teamed with Doug Corbett for a 9-7 win at #1 doubles, registering two points in Randolph's 5-4 win over R-MC. Strober added a 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5) win at #1 singles in an 8-1 setback to Guilford. He and Corbett fell 8-4 in doubles play.

Kenneth Downing, Virginia Wesleyan, Jr. #2 Singles, #2 DoublesApril 04, 2016Downing, a junior from Washington, D.C., helped the Marlins to a 3-0 week that included two ODAC wins and a victory over NCAA Division I member Hampton University. Downing and partner Tyler Chang earned an 8-2 #2 doubles win over Randolph to help the Marlins to a 5-0 team win. The duo would later add a pair of 8-6 wins over Hampton and Bridgewater. Downing competed at #2 singles, picking up a 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Hampton's Miguel Saurez on the way to a 6-1 team triumph. Downing capped his week with a 6-3, 6-3 #2 singles victory against Bridgewater, helping VWC to a 7-2 victory. Virginia Wesleyan is now 9-5 overall and 4-0 in league play.

Graham Wilson, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr., #1 Singles, #1 DoublesMarch 28, 2016Wilson, a senior from Newport News, Va., put together a solid week as Virginia Wesleyan squared off with four regionally or nationally-ranked programs amongst its five spring break matches. Wilson went 3-2 at #1 singles, highlighted by a 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 triumph over the ITA Central Region's 19th ranked player, Michael Treis from nationally 16th-ranked UW-Whitewater. Wilson picked up his second win against central regional #11 Oberlin, topping Michael Douglas 2-6, 6-2, 6-3. Following a loss to central region #10 Carleton's #1 player, Wilson picked up a 2-6, 6-1, 10-3 triumph over Joey Kronzer from St. Olaf College, helping the Marlins to an 8-1 victory. Wilson also squared off with nationally 50th-ranked Thomas Manning from central region #15 Allegheny College, falling to AC's #1 (7-6, 6-2). Wilson and doubles teammate Adam Rosemblaum picked up a win at #1 doubles against Carleton, posting an 8-4 triumph over Christian Nagy and Jordon O'Kelly.

John Adam, Randolph-Macon, Sr., #1 Singles/#1 DoublesMarch 21, 2016Adam, a senior from Vienna, Va., helped Randolph-Macon to a pair of victories by going 4-0 over two matches each in top-flight singles and doubles action. He posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Matthew Muoio at #1 singles in the Yellow Jackets 9-0 victory over Albright. He and Baxter Carter won 8-5 over Muoio and Ken Richardson at #1 doubles. In a 7-2 trimph over Southern Virginia, Adam won 7-6, 6-1 over TJ Snelson in singles competition, and then again joined Baxter for an 8-6 #1 doubles win over Snelson and Justin Fullmer.

Michael Holt, Washington and Lee, Sr., #1 Singles/#1 DoublesMarch 14, 2016Holt, a senior from Henrico, Va., helped the Generals to a 5-4 team win over 15th-ranked Mary Washington in a matchup of nationally-ranked programs. Holt, ranked 46th on the ITA's singles charts, took on 32nd-ranked Brandon Griffin at #1 singles. Holt registered a 6-2, 7-6 triumph. He and teammate Jordan Krasner scored an 8-4 victory over Griffin and Max Fritsch at #1 doubles. For the yeah, Holt is 12-2 in singles action and 5-8 in doubles play.

Will Bannister, Washington and Lee, Jr., #3/4/5 Singles/#1/2 DoublesMarch 07, 2016Bannister, a junior from Bath, England, helped the Generals to a 2-1 week by going 3-0 in singles play at various flights and 2-1 in doubles action from the first and second ladders. He posted a 6-1, 6-0 #4 singles victory over Lynchburg, and moved up a rung to win 6-4, 6-3 at #3 singles over Randolph College. He capped his singles performance with a 6-4, 6-3 triumph at #5 singles in the Generals' match with 12th-ranked Johns Hopkins (L, 3-6). Bannister and doubles partner Jordan Krasner earned back-to-back 8-1 wins from the #1 slot against LC and RAND before falling 8-3 to JHU at #2 doubles. Bannister is 9-2 in singles play and 6-6 in doubles action this season.

Michael Holt, Washington and Lee, Sr., #1 Singles/#1 DoublesFebruary 29, 2016Holt, a senior from Henrico, Va., went 2-0 at #1 singles and 1-1 at #1 doubles as Washington and Lee split matches with 34th-ranked Cal Lutheran (W, 9-0) and 15th-ranked Redlands (L, 2-7). Holt topped Cal-Lu's Gio Valdez, 6-1, 6-2, and then earned a 6-4, 2-6, 11-9 over Redlands' Joey Dulle. Holt and partner Perry Clements picked up an 8-3 win over Cal-Lu's Valdez and Jesper Lunding-Johansson from the #1 doubles position, but fell 9-7 to Redlands' Dulle and Chase Lipscomb.

Jordan Krasner, Washington and Lee, Sr., #2 Singles/#2 DoublesFebruary 22, 2016Krasner, a junior from Rockville, Md., helped lead the Generals to pair of team wins over Randolph-Macon (5-1) and Christopher Newport (6-3) as they kicked off the spring season. Krasner earned singles wins from the #2 position, defeating his R-MC counterpart 6-0, 6-0. He needed an extra set to defeated CNU's Justin Cerny, ultimately pulling out a 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 decision. He and partner Will Bannister posted #2 doubles wins over 8-2 and 9-7, respectively.
