    University of Lynchburg standout Christina Harris took home ODAC Player of the Year honors in a vote of the conference coaches to headline the 2019 All-ODAC Women's Tennis Awards. Washington and Lee University, which placed a league-high seven players on the all-conference lists, earned the remaining three major individual honors. Erin Ness earned ODAC Coach of the Year laurels for a second straight season, while first-year Georgia Wright collected ODAC Rookie of the Year accolades. Generals' senior Mary Hampton McNeal received ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete recognition from the conference's sports information directors.

  • Washington and Lee Headlines ODAC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll

    The 2019 ODAC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll has a familiar logo perched at the top, but there is plenty of movement throughout the rest of the listing in the annual survey of the league's head coaches. Washington and Lee University, winners of 16 straight ODAC titles, stands atop the chart after receiving 12 first place votes on the way to 144 total points. Randolph-Macon College moved up a spot from last season's poll to rank second with 132 markers including the final top nod.
  • Guilford Names Kleimeier Women's Tennis Head Coach

    Guilford College Director of Athletics Sue Bower named Kim Kleimeier '13 as the Quakers' new women's head tennis coach Thursday. She replaces Dave McCain, who remains as Guilford's men's coach after directing both the men's and women's programs from 2010-18.

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2017-18 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in each of the conference's 24 sponsored sports. The squads are comprised of a student-athlete selected by the coaching staffs of each team competing under the conference banner with all sports and schools fully represented.

    Director of Athletics Myra Sims is pleased to announce the hiring of Alex Kosicki to lead the Hollins tennis program. After a nationwide search, Kosicki is scheduled to take over the day-to-day operations of the program on August 6th.
